“The only thing that is more expensive than education is ignorance.”
Benjamin Franklin
Typically, when we consider purchasing something, we ask how much it costs. Perhaps, we should be asking how much it is worth - particularly when the lives of our children are part of the equation. So much happens to our children from the time they first enter kindergarten until they walk across the stage at graduation. We believe that making a difference in children's lives during those years is worth investing our lives in.
We know that paying tuition is a significant investment and many families might not believe they can afford Washington Christian Academy. However, there are many, many families who initially thought it was impossible and have been attending WCA for years.
We encourage families to apply for tuition assistance. In fact, about two-thirds of our families receive tuition assistance with typical awards ranging between 10% and 50%. We have been committed to economic diversity since we were founded in 1960 and have a fifty-year history of financially working with families to enable them to attend. We offer multiple-year awards so that families don't have to wonder, year by year, if their child will be able to return. Finally, we aren't so big that you would ever get lost in a crowd. We take the time to work with families individually to ensure we've best understood their financial circumstances and done all that we can to make it possible for their children to receive a WCA education.
