WCA is Needed – Here and Now

Our mission is critical here

WCA is in a unique position to prepare students to engage in thoughtful dialogue as they interact and engage with our world and everyone in it. Here we have also been given the opportunity to support the education for Christian families that are from many different places throughout the world.

Our mission is critical now

As we witness the climate of our current culture it would be easy to be fearful and allow doubt to creep in. The mission of WCA seizes upon the opportunity we have been given to train students in truth and equip them to serve boldly wherever they are called. This fall, Lower School students have been learning in chapel about courage from the stories of Joseph and Moses, the response must be “Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope. I am the Lord your God. I will be with you everywhere you go.” Joshua 1:9b

Thankful for the past, dependent each day, excited about the future!

Though so much has been accomplished, our work is not done. Our ability to sustain the outstanding level of academic pursuits in a nurturing covenant community while planning for growth and forward movement continues to require your financial support. In particular, this year we expect to:

  • Sustain and expand the new programs already instituted, such as additional AP classes, Fine Arts and extracurricular offerings
  • Continue to provide an extraordinary level of need-based financial aid to WCA families. This is part of fulfilling WCA’s mission and goes to the heart of our values.
  • Improve the student experience and strengthen our support of every teacher through the Dean of Students. Our longer term goal is to add a full-time Principal focused on Kindergarten through 8th grade

As our past successes were fueled by faithful donors, we are asking each family in the WCA community to consider how they might invest in the future plans of Washington Christian Academy.

Please consider the impact your giving will have here at Washington Christian Academy. A gift of $250, $500, $1,000 or more would make a huge difference now.
