Welcome to Washington Christian Academy’s Online Application.

We are delighted you have decided to pursue admission for your child. Please review the application process below prior to starting the online application. All supplemental forms must be downloaded, completed, and returned before your application will be reviewed for admission.

Step #1

Submit your application through our online portal by the Priority Admission Deadline, January 18th. After the deadline, we continue to accept applications for grades with space available. For the application to be considered fully complete, you will need to submit the following:

  • Completed online application and pay the non-refundable $100 application fee.
    • Pastor’s Recommendation Form (One per family) –  This form should be completed by your pastor or member of your church’s pastoral staff. It can be filled online, emailed to the admissions office, or printed and mailed in.
    • Teacher Recommendation Form – Fill out the top portion and submit to your child’s current or last year’s teacher to fill out.
    • Request for Records Form (One per child) – Use this form to have copies of the applicant’s records sent from his/her current school to WCA. Please submit this form to your child’s school.
    • Student Questionnaire (Grades 7-12) – Print out the form and have the student fill it out (handwritten). Email the completed questionnaire to admission@washingtonchristian.org.
    • Submit a copy of your child’s IEP or other Academic Accommodations or Evaluations (if applicable). If you indicated such on the application, WCA requires a complete copy of your child’s IEP and/or test report and/or other academic accommodations or evaluation, including a 504 plan.
    • A copy of your birth certificate is required for all applicants.

Step #2

  • The Admission Office reviews your application once all documentation has been submitted and received.
  • Admission Testing may be required for Grades 1-12. The office will contact you to schedule the Admission Testing. The cost for Admission Testing is $75.
  • For Kindergarten: The Admission Office will contact you to schedule a developmental assessment for your child. The cost of the assessment is $75.
  • The Admission Office will contact you to schedule a Family Interview. Your student must be present.

Step #3

  • Receive your Admission Decision. 

  • Admission decisions and tuition assistance decisions for Priority Enrollment are sent out in mid-February. We will continue to take applications for both admission and tuition assistance after that date as space and funds allow. 

  • Waiting Pool: If your student is placed in our Waiting Pool, our Admission Office will stay in close contact.

Step #4

  • Enrollment Decision

  • The Admission Committee will determine acceptance and notify the parents of the decision via email.

    • Upon acceptance notification, you will be provided additional information and how to complete the enrollment process.

    • There is a separate non-refundable Enrollment Fee of $650 (per family) that will also be due at the time of enrollment to secure a spot in your child’s class. If Enrollment is completed by March 1st, $400 of that enrollment fee will be applied towards your upcoming tuition balance. 

    • All tuition, transportation, and aftercare billing will be processed through FACTS. Families are required to register for a FACTS account during the Enrollment process to manage payments conveniently and securely. 

    • First tuition payment is made in June for the upcoming academic year.

Dates and Deadlines

For New Family Applicants

  • Applications Open Oct 1
  • New Family Priority Admission and Tuition Assistance applications are due Jan 18
  • New Family Acceptance offers and Tuition Assistance awards are notified mid-Feb.
  • Enrollment deadline is March 1st (for flexible Enrollment Fee)

For Returning Families

  • Returning families’ Tuition Assistance applications due Jan 25. Families may still apply after the Jan 25th deadline, but funds will be limited.

  • Tuition rates for the next AY are finalized in early January.

  • Current Family Tuition Assistance awards emailed on Feb 13

  • Withdrawal Deadline for next AY is Feb 28.
