We are more than a group of teachers and students, we are a community that includes the parents and families of every student. We say that we admit families, not just students. Functioning as a community of families is critical to the fulfillment of our mission - we depend upon parents to become involved in the school. We’ve frequently seen families make life-long friendships through their involvement at WCA.
In addition to the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) organization, and their Parents in Prayer group, there are several other important ways for parents to become involved in their child’s school experience and in the larger mission of WCA.
There are many opportunities for parents to be involved in our athletics program. These include coaching and assitant coaching, becoming a team parent, helping to transport students before and after games, providing snacks and refreshments and helping with the end of season celebrations. Of course, we also encourage everyone to come out to the games to cheer on the Wildcat teams!
At many home games we also sell snacks at our concession booth. If you would like to volunteer to work concessions, please contact our Athletic Director, Tim Bratt. We appreciate your support!
