The WCA Vision

Building the Promise

Campus Master Plan

Phase I

The WCA Vision

Washington Christian Academy will continue to keep our promises to our students and their families: providing reverent, adventurous, academically serious education in the historic Reformed tradition. Students from near and far will benefit from an exchange of ideas and cultures. Our school will grow in visibility and stature to become a magnet for students and a model for Christian educators regionally, nationally, and beyond. Most importantly, our students will be prepared to take their places in church and society as mature, globally-aware, thoughtful disciples.

As we build this promise together, we envision parents for whom such a school will be literally an answer to prayer. We see teachers uniting their spiritual and professional lives in new, deeply satisfying ways. We see community leaders and journalists saying to each other, “So that’s what they mean by ‘the historic Reformed tradition’.” And at the very center of this vision, we see children–our present and future students– who are ready to examine our world in the light of God’s glory, and to develop the intellectual and spiritual habits of mature discipleship.
