Bible

The systematic study of God’s Word plays a central role in our students' education, since it is the basis for developing a Christian world-view. A coherent Bible curriculum leads our Lower School students into an ever-deepening appreciation of the depths and truths of Scripture. Through the study of God’s revelation of Himself in the stories and teachings of the Bible, our students learn increasingly to see the world through the lens of God’s truth. They learn what God is like and how he has acted in the lives of his people. They learn that all truth is God’s truth, with the Bible acting as their filter for determining what is good and true and beautiful. By memorizing Scripture, the students keep before them God’s principles and commandments for living wisely and with discernment, even as they are called to Biblical standards for their behavior and relationships with classmates and teachers.
