Larry Danner, Headmaster

What we aim for at Washington Christian Academy is an education that is transcendent, one that instills in each student eternal values and produces eternal results, one that teaches students to think biblically and live Christianly, one that prepares them to live well for Christ in a future they cannot see. If you share these desires for your children, then I invite you to prayerfully consider Washington Christian Academy."

Step Two - Testing

WCA requires standardized testing scores as a part of each student’s application; testing must have been completed within the previous academic year and scores must be nationally normed. Submit a copy of your child’s recent testing results, or if necessary, WCA can conduct admission testing for a $75 fee. If you indicated such on the application, WCA also requires a copy of your child’s IEP or other test report. Due to the extra review process for these documents, an additional $75 fee applies.

Step Three - The Family Interview

All families seeking admission to WCA will be interviewed by one of our administrators. This gives us an opportunity to further explain the mission and philosophy of education of WCA. It also gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have about the school. We require students applying to grades 6 through 12 to attend the interview.

Step Four - The Admission Decision

When the application file is complete, the Admission Committee will review it. As soon as a decision is made, the Admission Office will inform you by letter.

We look forward to working together with you in the shared goal of educating your children. If at anytime you have questions, please feel free to call WCA at 240-390-0429.
