Membership

The Society is composed of Christians who have chosen to devote their time and talents to the general promotion of Christian education from a Reformed perspective and specifically to the development and maintenance of WCA. The requirements for membership in the Society are the following:

1. Members must be eighteen years of age or older.
2. They must believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, both incapable of error and free from error. They must believe that the Reformed standards listed in the basis of the Society faithfully reflect the Bible.
3. They must agree with the guiding principles and purpose of the Society.
4. Members must pay an annual membership fee as set by the Society.

Anyone wishing to join the Society must submit an application to the Membership Committee of the Board of Directors. Applications may be downloaded, obtained from the WCA office or from the Membership Committee chairman.

Rights and Responsibilities

Society members have the right and obligation to influence the policies and direction of the Washington Christian Academy by their voice and vote at Society meetings. Members may hold office in the Society's Board of Directors. Members have the responsibility to exercise their rights by attending Society meetings when possible and by involving themselves in the life of the school in whatever way God leads.
