Leading...
Where the Lower
school is about discovering and the Middle School is about becoming, the Upper School is about leading. That leadership evolves out of a sense of purpose that students develop through their years at WCA. Bolstered by a confidence in themselves that grows out of a dependence on God, students come to recognize and realize their potential. They become culturally informed and engaged through community service activities and internships. Through their immersion in a rich and compelling college preparatory program, they form a comprehensive worldview that is intellectually consistent and distinctively Christian. In and out of the classrooms, students are challenged and inspired by interesting men and women who are gifted thinkers and dynamic instructors and who live before their students heroic and adventurous Christian lives. The WCA Upper School experience empowers young men and women not merely to live a better life, but to live a qualitatively different kind of life, a life filled with a sense of destiny, a life of leadership that makes a difference for Christ in the world.
