Our annual event when grandparents and special family friends visit the school and experience life at Washington Christian Academy. The morning begins at 9:30am with registration and refreshments. at 10:00 am we have a program which includes performances by many of our Lower, Middle, and High School students. Following the program, grandparents are welcome to visit their grandchildren in their classrooms. The day concludes at noon on a half day of school.
Then, grandchildren can take their grandparents out to lunch and return to the school and see the 2 pm matinee of the annual Spring play!
Grandy Gram Cards - It has been a tradition on Grandparent's Day to offer an opportunity for grandparents (those that are either able or unable to attend) to send their student a s personalized note and special treat. These "Grandy Grams" are delivered to the student's classroom the morning of Grandparent's Day.
Grandparents Fund - Each year, grandparents are given an opportunity to donate to a designated fund that supports book purchases for the WCA library. Recently, over $3,100 was donated and used to purchase books for all grade levels.
