Out of Many We are One

In Matthew 28, Jesus commands us to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” In 1776, the leaders of the first 13 colonies of the United States of America adopted the phrase “E pluribus unum,” or “out of many, we are one” to form a nation based not on blood, but on values.

Like Antioch was two centuries ago in the ancient Roman Empire, the Washington D.C. metropolitan area is one of the most culturally diverse areas in the history of the world. Washington Christian Academy is committed to the belief that our shared citizenship in God’s kingdom is the strongest bond we share. With a culturally diverse student body, we learn together, play together, and pray together with the goal of fulfilling our Lord’s mandate and our nation’s hope.
