Season Banquets & Student Awards

At the close of each season, families, athletes and coaches gather for the season ending banquet. It’s a time for fellowship and an opportunity to recognize our student athletes, coaches and volunteers for outstanding performance and hard work throughout the season.

Student athletes are recognized for achievement in a variety of ways. The most coveted award given is the Christian Character Award, presented to the student whose performance, behavior and attitude, both on and off the playing field, best model the Christian values WCA stands for. A number of other awards are presented to student athletes; among them, the Wildcat Award for outstanding athletic performance, best offensive and defensive players (for appropriate sports) as well as the most improved players. Varsity sports participants are eligible to letter in their sport. Every season a number of our athletes are recognized by the MISAL league as All-League performers.
