Leagues & Schedules

The majority of WCA teams compete in the Maryland Independent Schools Athletic League (MISAL). Some of the teams in the MISAL are Calverton, Takoma Academy, Rockbridge, and Spencerville Academy, among others. WCA also competes in non-league games with local schools such as Covenant Life, Good Counsel, Sandy Spring and the Avalon School, among others.

WCA uses a Google Site to keep the community apprised of schedules for both games and practices. This site includes schedules, contact information, away game information, etc.

Sports Hotline

The WCA Hotline is used in conjunction with the Google site as a communications tool. Prior to leaving the home or office to travel to a game, parents call the Hotline to make sure the game is being played as scheduled and not delayed or postponed due to weather or other circumstances. The Hotline is updated daily; real time changes are made on an as needed basis. The Hotline number is: 1-877-305-CATS (2287)
