Naviance

As part of our College Guidance Program, we use the Counselor’s Office, by Naviance, a service which allows our office to track and support our students’ college applications and career plans. This service allows us to electronically upload transcripts and recommendations to colleges. It also provides up-to-date information specific to our school and colleges.

We also use Family Connection from Naviance, a web-based service designed especially for students and parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website parents and students may use to help in making decisions about colleges and organizing the student’s responsibilities with college applications.

Family Connection

Family Connection allows students to:

• Get involved in the planning for college – Build a resume, complete on-line surveys, manage timelines and deadlines for college applications, assess academic interests and set career goals.
• Research colleges – Up-to-date information for over one thousand colleges is available. Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted.
• Sign up for college visits – Find out which colleges are visiting our school and sign up for our October College Fair.
• Complete our Senior Questionnaire and access our Parents' Insights Questionnaire.
• Request and track transcripts and teacher recommendations.
